Play Day with Mom and Dad

Today I went out with Mom and Dad for a play day!  First we went to Melbourne Beach / Indialantic and played on the playground.  I had so much fun!  

First, I got to swing all by myself - nobody holding me this time!  Daddy pushed me since my legs aren't long enough yet.  He pushed me really high but I was only scared for one tiny second because I'm a big girl!


Then Mommy took me down the slide.  She had a little trouble getting up there because she's a grown up, but we made it.  This slide was a lot bigger than the last one I went down, so it was kind of scary at first.  But I had fun! 


The last thing we did at the playground was play on the drums.  I thought it was really neat how Daddy made music on the drums but I couldn't quite get the hang of it.  I think next time I go I will be ready to make music like Daddy! 


Once we were done on the playground, I got in my stroller and Mom and Dad walked up and down the boardwalk with me.  I liked going over the bumpy-bumpy-bumps of each board and watching the waves hit the sand.  It was a chilly and very windy day so the waves were big!  

After the boardwalk we tried to go to the library but they were closed so we headed to Downtown Melbourne for dinner.  I needed a diaper change ("Poops I did it again") so we stopped right after the bridge from the beach...  and we saw dolphins swimming in the river!  We all went out to the end of the pier (Mommy was brave) to watch them play.  















After watching the dolphins play, we finally made it down to Downtown.  Mom and Dad had some yummy looking burgers but they only let me have milk.  No fair!  I can't wait until I can eat french fries.  I tried to sneak some fries but Mommy caught me and told me no.  :(  


It's ok though.  I had a very fun day with Mom and Dad.  We got out of the house and I had all their attention which I love.  Mom says I'm an attention hog like her and Dad.  I can't help it that I am so cute and love to entertain people!

Cuddle time with Cinderella

You already know how much I like playing with my puppy dog, Cinderella.  Well sometimes I'm tired from playing so much and I just want to cuddle.  Cinderella is a really good cuddler.  She is so nice I get to lay on her and pet her and pull her ears and she doesn't mind at all because she loves me.

Daddy makes funny noises on my Bumbo tray.  It is so funny!

Playing with Cinderella

I love my puppy dog, Cinderella.  She likes to lick me and she watches me to make sure I am ok.  She wants to play but I am too little so sometimes she plays with Daddy instead.  It is really funny watching her run around, and it makes me laugh.  Mommy loves my laugh so she made me post a video of it. 

Walker Racing

My friends Robbie and Nate let me borrow their walker since they're too big for it now.  Daddy wanted to help me take it for a spin around the kitchen to see what it can do.  We had fun racing around...  and chasing Cinderella. 

Flipping Over

Oh my goodness, the strangest thing just happened!  I was doing belly time on the floor with Mommy, playing with my toys.  I rolled onto my side to give my arms a rest, then all of a sudden my leg rolls over too and I was on my back!  

I flipped over!!!  

It was the neatest thing.  Now I know how to get onto my back when I'm tired of belly time.  I don't like belly time usually so this is really cool.  Mommy took a video of me flipping over, so you can see it here:  





After I flipped over, Mommy put me back on my tummy to play some more.  I'm getting kind of tired of staying in one spot, so I started scooting around a little bit.  Mommy took another video of that here:  



I can't wait until I can crawl! 

I spent the rest of the day laughing and playing with mommy and my new favorite toy.  It's a squishy rubber ball with a bunch of holes in it.  It's easy for me to grab and hold on to, and I can chew on it easily too.  It's almost as important as my binky, and I take it with me everywhere.
